The assigned citizen will post a summary of the meeting at http://www.abouthighlandcity.blogspot.com/. This way, citizens can know what took place at the city council meeting in a timely fashion while the city council takes whatever means it needs to take before publishing their minutes and ratifying them. You can also publish comments, or sign up for an online discussion if you wish.

In order to follow what's going on, this group is committed to having one representative at each City Council meeting. It means a commitment of one or two nights a year, and then a follow-up email to the group. Let Highlander know, should you be willing to go to a Council meeting.
